3,200 Candidates Receive Invitations in Latest CEC Draw

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recently issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw.
A total of 763 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates received ITAs, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 690 required. This week’s draws follow an unprecedented series of nine draws in July, where over 25,000 ITAs were issued.
July marked a significant increase in draw activity, with the highest CRS score of 739 seen in the PNP draw on July 2. The month also featured category-based selection draws focusing on French language proficiency, healthcare occupations, and trade occupations.
The surge in program-specific draws reflects IRCC’s commitment to increasing permanent residency invitations for candidates already residing in Canada, aligning with its goal to reduce the number of temporary residents while meeting permanent resident admissions targets.
Additionally, 3,200 candidates were invited in a Canadian Experience Class (CEC)-specific draw, requiring a minimum CRS score of 509.
