Express Entry: 1,613 Candidates Invited in PNP-Specific Draw

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 1,613 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw, exclusively for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 743. 

In contrast, a previous draw on September 19 targeted Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates, inviting 4,000 applicants with a minimum CRS score of 509. 

Since July, IRCC has focused on CEC draws, issuing 21,800 ITAs to reduce temporary residents and meet permanent resident targets. Today’s draw is the first of October, while four draws took place in October last year, inviting 9,173 candidates.
