IRCC invites CEC candidates for the second week straight

IRCC has issued 400 invitations to apply (ITAs) in a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw, requiring a minimum CRS score of 539. This draw follows a PNP draw on November 18 that invited 174 candidates with a minimum score of 816. 

This marks the second consecutive week of Express Entry draws, following last week’s issuance of 1,933 ITAs across CEC, PNP, and French-language categories. 

According to IRCC’s latest Immigration Levels Plan, Express Entry targets will rise next year, aiming to admit 124,680 candidates, with over 82,000 dedicated to a new “In-Canada Focus” category primarily for CEC candidates. The remaining 41,700 spots will be for candidates in the “Federal Economic Priorities” category, focused on in-demand skills.
