IRCC issues 1,000 ITAs in third Express Entry draw this week

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its latest Express Entry draw, specifically targeting candidates with French-speaking proficiency. A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 444 was required.
This marks the third Express Entry draw of the week. Earlier, IRCC invited 1,613 candidates with Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nominations, who needed a minimum CRS score of 743. On October 9, 500 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates were invited with a minimum score of 539.
Prior to this, the last draw occurred on September 19, inviting 4,000 CEC candidates with a minimum score of 509. In recent months, IRCC has reduced category-based draws, except for French language proficiency, with the last healthcare-related draw occurring in July.
CEC draws have been more frequent, with 21,800 ITAs issued to CEC candidates since July, aligning with IRCC’s goal to increase domestic draws and reduce the number of temporary residents. Today’s draw is the third this month, compared to four draws in October last year, when 9,173 candidates were invited.
