IRCC Issues 1,085 ITAs in PNP-Only Express Entry Draw

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its first draw of the week, issuing 1,085 invitations to apply (ITAs) in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)-only draw. Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 727.

This marks the third Express Entry draw in December, following earlier PNP and category-based draws. Recent trends indicate alternating draws targeting PNP, Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and French-speaking candidates. 

The 2025-2027 Immigration Levels Plan emphasizes an “In-Canada” focus, with 82,980 PR admissions allocated to regional programs, CEC, and potentially FSWP and FSTP candidates in 2025.
