IRCC Issues 500 ITAs to CEC Candidates in Second Weekly Draw

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its latest Express Entry draw, exclusively targeting Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 539.

Earlier this week, IRCC invited 1,613 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates with a minimum CRS score of 739. On September 19, 4,000 CEC candidates were invited with a minimum score of 509.

Since July, IRCC has issued 21,800 ITAs to CEC candidates, reflecting its focus on “domestic” draws to reduce temporary residents and meet permanent residency targets. Last October, the department conducted four draws, inviting 9,173 candidates.
